Stimulation electrodes are facilitated to be precisely and stably placed at a predetermined position in a body cavity, such as an epidural space, and to be removed from a living body. An electric stimulator includes a stimulation circuit block having a stimulation electrode that stimulates nerves or muscles in a living body and a stimulation circuit that is electrically connected to the stimulation electrode to apply a stimulation signal to the stimulation electrode. Additionally, the electric stimulator further includes a support that is connected to the stimulation circuit block to hold the stimulation electrode at an implantation position in the living body. The stimulation circuit block and the support, except for at least one end of the support, have a shape capable of being inserted into the duct of a tubular insertion tool.
