PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reactivating a tree, capable of reactivating the tree and also preventing the tree from being fallen.SOLUTION: A method for reactivating a tree includes: a first step of cutting off a lateral bud 3 sprouting on a branch 2 of an old tree such as a cherry tree 1 with a cutter and applying a rooting activating agent to a cut part 4 a second step of covering a part from the cut part to the ground G with a pipe 5 filled with culture soil F having air permeability and water permeability and containing fertilizer and moderate moisture in the inside thereof a third step of cutting open one side of a part of the pipe 5 in the growing part at the stage where a plurality of roots grow from the cut part 4 to a predetermined length and cutting off fine roots with a thick root 6 left undone and a fourth step of removing the pipe 5 when the left thick root 6 grows in the pipe 5 and the tip thereof extends into the ground and completely makes root therein.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 樹木を再活性化させると共に、樹木の倒木を防止することが可能な樹木の再活性化方法の提供。【解決手段】 桜1等の老木の枝2に発芽した脇芽3を刃物で切り取って切断部4に発根活性剤を塗布する第1工程と、切断部分から地面Gに至るまでの間を、通気性及び通水性を有し内部に肥料と適度な水分を含む培養土Fを充填したパイプ5で覆う第2工程と、切断部4から根が複数発根して所定長さに成長した段階で、成長部分におけるパイプ5の一部の片面部分を切り開き、太い根6を残して細い根を切り取る第3工程と、残した前記太い根6がパイプ5内で成長しその先端が地中内まで伸びて完全に根付いた時点でパイプ5を取り外す第4工程とからなる。【選択図】 図3
