The apparatus for estimating blood pressure can determine the calibration time and the calibration mode of the blood pressure estimation model, and can calibrate the blood pressure estimation model according to the determined calibration time and the calibration mode.혈압 추정 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 혈압 추정 장치는 사용자의 맥파 정보를 포함하는 생체 신호를 측정하고, 혈압 추정 모델을 이용하여 생체 신호로부터 사용자의 혈압을 추정할 수 있다. 혈압 추정 장치는 혈압 추정 모델의 캘리브레이션 시점 및 캘리브레이션 방식을 결정하고, 결정된 캘리브레이션이 시점 및 캘리브레이션 방식에 따라 혈압 추정 모델을 캘리브레이션할 수 있다.
