PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental plaque observation device that emits no light having a possibility of applying a harmful influence onto a human body, is held with a hand, and allows a user to observe teeth with the mouth opened, from the outside.SOLUTION: The dental plaque observation device includes: a box-shaped housing having a rectangular observation window a plurality of LEDs provided in front of the housing and emitting purple light a band-pass filter covering the front side of the LEDs and passing light with wavelength of 380-450 nm a long-pass filter fitted in the observation window of the housing, transmitting light with wavelength longer than 500 nm, and cutting off the light shorter than 500 nm an on-off switch for turning on or off the LEDs batteries for supplying power to the LEDs and a charging port for charging the batteries.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】人体に有害な影響を与える可能性のある光を出さず、手に持つことができ、口をあけた状態で外から歯を観察できる歯垢観察器を提供する。【解決手段】矩形状の観察窓が設けられた箱型のハウジングと、ハウジングの正面に設けられ、紫光を出す複数のLEDと、LEDの前方側を覆い、380~450nmの波長を通過させるバンドパスフィルタと、ハウジングの観察窓にはめ込まれ、500nmより長い波長の光を透過させ、500nmより短い波長の光を遮断するロングパスフィルタと、LEDを点灯または滅灯させるオンオフスイッチと、LEDに給電する電池と、電池の充電を行なう充電口と、が備えられる。【選択図】図1
