The present application discloses a vibrational spectroscopy method for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease in a subject comprising the steps of a) determining in a Raman spectrum of a biofluid from said subject or in a sample derived from said biofluid the intensity of a Raman band around 1256 cm-1； and b) comparing the intensity value obtained in step a) with a reference value, wherein an increase in the value of said Raman band intensity with respect to the reference value is indicative that the subject suffers Alzheimer's disease. The application also discloses an apparatus for plasma sample analysis, a computer program, a data carrier and to a therapy suitable for treating Alzheimer's disease.La présente invention concerne un procédé de spectroscopie vibratoire pour le diagnostic de la maladie d'Alzheimer chez un sujet, comprenant les étapes consistant : a) à déterminer, dans un spectre Raman d'un fluide biologique provenant dudit sujet ou dans un échantillon dérivé dudit fluide biologique, l'intensité d'une bande Raman autour de 1256 cm -1； et b) à comparer la valeur d'intensité obtenue à l'étape a) avec une valeur de référence, une augmentation de la valeur de ladite intensité de bande Raman par rapport à la valeur de référence indiquant que le sujet souffre de la maladie d'Alzheimer. L'invention concerne également un appareil servant à l'analyse d'échantillons de plasma, un programme informatique, un support de données et une thérapie appropriée pour le traitement de la maladie d'Alzheimer.
