PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a ring artifact without a coordinate transformation or a deterioration in accuracy of a tomography image of an X-ray CT system.SOLUTION: In the X-ray CT system, a pair of an X-ray generator 1 and an X-ray detector 2 which are opposed to each other and a sample stage 3 arranged between them are relatively rotated to collect X-ray projected data of an object W at a plurality of angles, and the tomography image is formed along a plane orthogonal to a rotating axis R by using the projected data. The tomography image is rotated, added and averaged by a prescribed angle on a position corresponding to the rotating axis R on the tomography image. To each of pixels forming the rotated, added and averaged image, a one-dimensional or a two-dimensional filtering process along a line for connecting the pixel to the position corresponding to the rotating axis R is applied to form an image from which the ring artifact has been extracted, and the extracted image is subtracted from the original tomography image.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】Ｘ線ＣＴ装置断層像の座標変換・精度低下を伴うことなくリングアーチファクトを除去する。【解決手段】互いに対向配置されたＸ線発生装置１とＸ線検出器２の対と、これらの間に配置された試料ステージ３とを相対回転させることにより、複数の角度での対象物ＷのＸ線投影データを収集し、その投影データを用いて回転軸Ｒに直交する面に沿った断層像を構築するＸ線ＣＴ装置において、断層像を、その断層像上で回転軸Ｒに相当する位置を中心として所定角度だけ回転加算平均し、その回転加算平均化画像を構成する各画素について、当該画素と上記回転軸Ｒに相当する位置とを結ぶ線に沿った１次元もしくは２次元フィルタ処理を施すことによって、リングアーチファクトを抽出した画像を生成し、その抽出画像を元の断層像から減算する。【選択図】図１
