PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system of a movable body, effectively preventing the damage by a wild animal in farmland or the like.SOLUTION: The area monitoring system of the movable body has a movable body-attached body 1 and a movable body-monitoring base 5. The movable body-attached body 1 has at least a GPS-receiving part, a wireless communication part and a controller unit. The movable body-monitoring base 5 has at least a wireless communication part, a calculation part and an alarm-outputting part. The movable body-attached body 1 receives a distance-surveying signal from a GPS satellite, calculates a positioning information, and sends the positioning information to the movable body-monitoring base 5. The movable body-monitoring base 5 calculates a position information of the movable body based on the positioning information received by the movable body-monitoring base 5, and emits an alarm when the movable body appears in a prescribed region in the area monitoring system.
