The invention relates to an air scenting assembly, comprising: a scent container (24) which at least initially contains a scent perfume, and a scent perfume extracting mechanism (26), which is configured to release scent perfume from the scent container (24), wherein said scent perfume extracting mechanism (26) comprises: a scent perfume absorbing element (29) insertable into said scent container (24), a scent carrying material (33), a dripping mechanism (28) arranged onto said scent perfume absorbing element (29), said dripping mechanism is configured to deposit scent perfume from the scent container (24) onto said scent carrying material (33), and a limiter to restrain extraction of scent perfume from the scent container (24), wherein the limiter comprises an air duct (31) between the scent perfume absorbing element (29) and the dripping mechanism (28), and the limiter is air flow controlled, wherein one end of said air duct is placed inside said scent container, and wherein the other end of said air duct is connected to a nozzle (32), said nozzle being arranged on said scent carrying material (33) so that when said scent carrying material (33) is drenched to saturation, no more air can pass through said scent carrying material (33) and up into said nozzle and said air duct (31), and so that when the scent carrying material (33) is dry enough passage of air through said air duct (31) is allowed.
