PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder dusting device that can stably dust powder without being affected by a remaining amount of powder such as rice flour or wheat flour stored in an upper hopper.SOLUTION: A powder dusting method is provided for dusting powder F from a powder dusting port 16 provided in the lower side of a rotation trajectory of a rotating brush 13 annularly including a brush 12. The powder dusting method is configured by: including an upper hopper 21 for feeding the powder F to a brush chamber 20 with the rotating brush 13 rotatably installed therein in an upper side of the brush chamber 20 providing a tapered part 21B with a diameter slenderly formed toward the brush chamber 20 and a powder feed port 21E in the lower side of the tapered part 21B in the upper hopper 21 including the powder feed port 21E and the powder dusting port 16 while being inclined to the horizontal direction maintaining a deposition height of the powder F in the upper side of the powder dusting port 16 in the height of the powder feed port 21E and thereby always maintaining a load of the powder F applied on the powder dusting port 16 substantially constantly and dusting the powder.
