The present invention refers to an apparatus and a method for quick acute and chronicpain suppression, particularly useful and effective towards high-grade painsand/or pains resistant to other analgesic drugs such as opiates. According tothe present invention there are generated synthetic "non-pain"information strings of great clinical effectiveness, allowing high reproducibilityof the clinical result. Synthesis occurs by combining novel geometries of complexwaveforms in a sequence, perceived as "self and "non-pain"by the CNS.
