PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammography apparatus and an imaging system using the same capable of grasping a positioning state of a breast including a compression pressure distribution easily and with a high degree of precision.SOLUTION: When a compression plate 38 is displaced to compress a breast 88 against a photographing base 36, the compression pressure is detected by a pressure sensor 90 disposed on the photographing base 36, and the compression pressure distribution is displayed in a display part 40.
