A cleaning head for use with an electric toothbrush having a reciprocating actuating movement of the rotary type, produced by the drive unit, comprising: a transition section (36) adapted to be attached to the projecting portion (26) of the drive shaft of the drive unit and a base member (36) for the bristles disposed at the distal end of the transition portion, wherein the base member for the bristles includes a central portion (34) and two blade member (36, 38) on opposite sides of the central portion, whereby the central portion and the blade elements extend proximal ends cantilever manner, respectively, from the distal end of the transition portion, wherein the distal ends of the central portion and the blade members are free to move, in use, the central participation to follow the movement of the drive unit reciprocatingly pivoting partly rotational, movement for wiping the impact along the teeth and two paddle member movable inward and outward, to the teeth, and from them, when the central portion clears zuby.2.
