Medicinal plants have been used as an exemplary source for centuries as an alternative remedy for treating human diseases because they contain numerous active constituents of therapeutic value. There are many naturally derived phytochemicals with good anti oxidant property. The isolates of ptero carpus species possess high anti oxidant property. The anti oxidant property of ptero carpus can be attributed due to the presence of Ptero stilbene content. Pterostilbene . (trans-3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxystilbene) is a natural dietary compound and the primary antioxidant component of Pterocarpus. Our present invention relates developing a naturally derived anti oxidant with high bio availability.
