The present invention relates to a fishing reel which enables detachment and attachment of a bearing without detachment of a shaft support unit for holding the bearing, and secures the strength of the shaft support unit. A bearing accommodation structure of the fishing reel of the present invention comprises: a bearing for rotatably supporting a spool shaft； a cover unit (50) disposed to face a cross section of the spool shaft, and extending in a direction crossing the spool shaft； and a shaft support unit (36) for accommodating and supporting the bearing, and holding the cover unit (50) to face the cross section of the spool shaft. The shaft support unit (36) includes: a shaft hole (36d) for inserting and withdrawing the bearing in a direction of the spool shaft； and a cover hole (36e) for inserting and withdrawing at least a part of the cover unit (50) in a direction crossing the spool shaft or a direction that the cover unit (50) extends.
