PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect deterioration of the inside of a radiation image photographing device.SOLUTION: A radiation image photographing device (20, 20A to 20C) comprises: a scintillator (74) for converting radiation to visible light a light detection substrate (72) for converting the visible light to an electric signal and a light source (78) capable of selectively irradiating the light detection substrate (72) with at least two lights having different peak wavelengths.
