It is intended to provide a method of improving salmon meat color by which a salmon having a mild reddish orange meat color similar to natural ones can be obtained; a feed for improving meat color; and a salmon and its meat obtained by the method of improving salmon meat color as described above. It is also intended to provide a method of obtaining a salmon having a mild reddish orange meat color characterized by comprising feeding the salmon with a feed containing a carotenoid dye containing at least astaxanthin, phoenicoxanthin, canthaxanthin and adonixanthin.
