AN AMORPHOUS FORM OF DIMETHYL FUMARATE AND PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION ABSTRACT The present invention provides an amorphous form of dimethyl fumarate of Formula (I). The amorphous form of dimethyl fumarate has less than about 5% crystalline dimethyl fumarate. The present invention also provides process for preparation of amorphous form of dimethyl fumarate comprising providing a solution of dimethyl fumarate in one or more organic solvents and obtaining amorphous form of dimethyl fumarate by removal of solvent.
