Method for ensuring the correct functionality of an equipment (2), particularly of a medical and/or safety equipment and preferably of a semi-automatic defibrillator, comprising the steps of: - going physically near said equipment (2) with a portable device (10) which is equipped with its own processor and means (12) for acquiring, near said equipment (2), data relating to and/or representative of the equipment itself, - activating said means (12) to acquire, near said equipment (2), said data relating to and/or representative of the equipment itself, - sending the data so acquired, by means of communication means (22) with which said portable device (10) is provided, to a central remote processing unit (30) to be stored inside said unit, thus certifying that a subject with said portable device (10) went near said equipment (2), and characterized in that said acquisition means (12) of said portable device (10) comprise: - optical detection means (14) for scanning and/or acquiring at least one barcode (16) which contains said data relating to and/or representative of said equipment (2), and/or - short-range wireless transceiver means for reading the content of at least one electronic label (16) which contains relating to and/or representative data of said equipment (2), and also characterized in that said barcode (16) and/or said electronic label (17) are installed/mounted on a support element (21) which is removably applied/associated to the equipment (2) and/or to the container (19), in which said equipment (2) and any other components and/or accessories are housed, said support element (21) being configured so as to act as a seal of guarantee and/or security of the integrity of the equipment (2) and/or of said container (19), so as to certify that said equipment (2) and/or said container (19) have not been tampered with and/or already used and/or opened.L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à assurer la bonne fonctionnalité d'un équipement (2), en particulier ce
