FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics. Access is made to the hip joint with excision of nonviable tissues and fistulas. In zone of defect of the iliac body, using a drill with a diameter of 3–3.5 mm, two holes are formed with the passage of the second cortical layer of the ilium and determine their depth. Further spongy screws with a thread diameter of 6–6.5 mm are introduced, so that they protrude above the bone surface by 20–25 mm. In acetabulum a viscous mass of bone cement is laid so that it completely fills the acetabulum with all defects and the protruding parts of the screws. In cement mass femoral part of the spacer is inserted no more than the depth of the head.
