PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article of which a three-dimensional gather fits a body of a wearer, and thereby lateral leakage can be prevented surely.SOLUTION: An absorber 4 is interposed between a liquid permeable surface sheet 3 and a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 2, and three-dimensional gathers BS erecting on a skin side along a longitudinal direction are formed on both side parts of a skin contact surface side. A gather absorber 10 is provided in the three-dimensional gather BS, and a separation part 11 on which the absorber 4 and the gather absorber 10 are separated, on which no gather absorber 10 is provided, is formed on an erecting base end side of the three-dimensional gather BS relative to the gather absorber 10. Plural thread-like elastic stretchable members 12 separated in the erecting direction and along the longitudinal direction are provided on the position where the gather absorber 10 is provided.
