PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent liquid composition for the oral cavity in which variation of pH is suppressed in a pH region where allantoin is stable and stabilization in allantoin is achieved, and which combines excellent transparency and satisfactory use of sense.SOLUTION: The transparent liquid composition for the oral cavity includes the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) allantoin or its salt by 0.01 to 0.3 mass% expressed in terms of allantoin (B) lactic acid and its alkali metal salt by 0.08 to 0.12 mass% expressed in terms of lactic acid and (C) water by 75 to 99 mass%, and has a pH of 4.5 to 6.
