PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method suitable for safely feeding nitrous oxide for foaming to a vessel for preparing a foaming cream material and adjusting the feeding amount of the nitrous oxide for foaming.
SOLUTION: The feeding device 10 is used for feeding nitrous oxide for foaming in a gas state from a nitrous oxide gas cylinder 30 to a vessel 20 for preparing the foaming cream material. A feed line between the nitrous oxide gas cylinder 30 and the vessel 20 of the feeding device includes a pressure control means 11 for passing the nitrous oxide gas from the nitrous oxide gas cylinder 30 under a pressure equal to or below a predetermined pressure and a pressure reduction means 12 for reducing the nitrous oxide gas pressure to a level equal to or below a predetermined pressure when the nitrous oxide gas has pressure over the predetermined pressure downstream of the pressure control means 11. The method for feeding the gas is, e.g., to use the device 10 and feed the nitrous oxide for foaming to the vessel 20 for preparing the foaming cream material in a gas state free from a liquid phase.
