PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument standing unit and an endoscope, capable of reliably holding a standing table for standing a treatment instrument led out from a treatment instrument lead-out part of an insertion part inserted in a body cavity in a standing state.SOLUTION: A standing table 60 disposed at a treatment instrument lead-out part 58 of a tip part 34 of an endoscope 1 is rotatably supported on a revolving shaft 90, and a standing lever 96 is provided on the revolving shaft 90. The standing lever 96 is connected to a rotary shaft 100 by a worm gear 102. An operating wire 120 turned about the axis by the power from a rise and fall operation lever 18 operated by an operator is connected to the rotary shaft 100. Thus, when the rise and fall operation lever 18 is operated, the rotary shaft 100 is turned to turn the standing lever 96 through the worm gear 102.
