The present invention is intended to solve problems of ophthalmic composition suspensions that often result in eye irritation and blurred vision because of insufficient particle micronization. The present invention therefore provides for an aqueous ophthalmic composition comprising: a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor selected from at least one of: brinzolamide and a salt thereof at least one cellulose derivative selected from the group consisting of: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose acetate succinate and carboxymethylethyl cellulose and water.
