Injection systems and methods of use thereof are described herein. Each injection system may include one, two or more needles, each needle configured to move the needle between the injection position and the retracted position to deliver the inoculant. The injection needles can rotate about a carriage axis extending through the injection axis and along the injection axis each needle moves as it moves between their injection and retracted positions.
