<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus uniformly impressing an RF (Radio Frequency) magnetic field by a plurality of RF coils. <；P>；SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus reconstructs an image based on magnetic resonance signals generated by impressing a static magnetic field, a gradient magnetic field and the RF magnetic field by the plurality of RF coils (802-808) to a subject, and is provided with adjustment means (430) for adjusting a ratio of supplied power to the plurality of RF coils so as to equalize the intensity of the RF magnetic field to be impressed to the subject by the plurality of RF coils. The adjustment means adjusts the ratio so as to have a ratio of the inverse of the square of a RF magnetic-field-detecting signal based on the RF magnetic-field-detecting signal by sensors (422-428) provided for each one of the plurality of RF coils. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
