PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus ophthalmic use which has simple constitution and improved operability while suppressing the number of operation switches to be provided in the apparatus.
SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for ophthalmic use is equipped with: an ultrasonic probe for transmitting ultrasonic waves to an eye to be examined and receiving echo signals reflected by the eye to be examined a display means provided with a touch panel part which is operated and input by an examiner, for displaying the strength data of the echo signals received by the ultrasonic probe as ultrasonic images a mode switching means for switching a measurement mode for acquiring the ultrasonic images and a standby mode for making the operation of the ultrasonic probe stand by an image quality adjustment means provided outside the display screen of the display means, for adjusting the image quality of the ultrasonic images displayed at the display means during the measurement mode and a function switching means for making the image quality adjustment means function for a purpose different from the image quality adjustment during the standby mode.
