PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device for a coupler for a blood purifier, sufficiently effectively washing the interior of the coupler by adopting a specific structure considering the cross-sectional area of a channel through which a washing liquid flows.
SOLUTION: In the washing device, the coupler connected to a connection port of a blood purifier is connected to a connection port of an adapter bypassing the blood purifier to let the washing liquid flow. The channel from a washing liquid inlet of the coupler to an inlet of the washing liquid channel formed inside the adapter is formed either in such a form as extending with the cross-sectional area of the channel increasing with the twice of the area of the washing liquid inlet of the coupler as the limit as seen from the direction of flow of the washing liquid, or in such a form as having a part extending with the cross-sectional area of the channel increasing with the twice of the area of the washing liquid inlet of the coupler as the limit and a part extending with the same or decreasing cross-sectional area, or in such a form as extending with the same cross-sectional area of the channel as the area of the washing liquid inlet of the coupler, or in such a form as extending with the cross-sectional area of the channel decreasing relative to the area of the washing liquid inlet of the coupler.
