#$%^&*AU2012213963B220141127.pdf#####ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an isolated polypeptide which is produced by the method which consists of culturing an isolated yeast or mammalian host cell engineered to express at least one nucleic acid encoding a fusion polypeptide under in vitro or ex vivo conditions which permit the production of a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of a whole antibody molecule, an antibody fragment, and a fusion protein that includes a region equivalent to the Fc region of an immunoglobulin, wherein said fusion polypeptide has p(1,4)-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase Ill (GnT 1ll) activity or p(1,4)-galactosyltransferase (Gal T) activity and comprises the Golgi localization domain of a heterologous Golgi resident polypeptide, and wherein said nucleic acid is expressed in an amount sufficient to modify the oligosaccharides in the Fc region of the polypeptide produced by the host cell, and isolating the polypeptide produced by the host cell
