PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding apparatus for poultry, which prevents poultry from entering a guard and not slipping out from it.SOLUTION: The feeding apparatus 10 for poultry includes a cylindrical drop hood 12 having an inlet 18 for feeding a feed at the upper part and an outlet 20 for discharging a feed at the lower part, a feeding plate 14 that is arranged below the drop hood 12, stores a feed discharged from the drop hood 12 and supplies the feed to poultry and the guard 16 that supports the feeding plate 14 and fixes the feeding plate to the drop hood 12. The guard 16 has an upper engagement part 12a to be fitted to the outer circumference of the drop hood 12 and a lower engagement part 12c to be fixed to the feeding plate 14 and a plurality of arm parts 12b for connecting the upper engagement part 12a to the lower engagement part 12c.
