PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article, such as urine absorption pad, which can be used as disposed inside an outer wearing article, such as a diaper, underwear, or pad holder, and which enables others to easily aware that urine has been discharged.SOLUTION: In the absorptive article, including a surface sheet 1, a back sheet 2, and an absorber 3 interposed between both the sheets, is used such that the absorber portion is disposed inside an outer wearing article, the back sheet 2 has projecting portions 5, which project outward in the widthwise direction of the absorptive article so that it can be folded inward in the widthwise direction, toward the back sheet 2. These projecting portions 5 are provided with a labelling material 6 able to detect an excreted liquid.
