To provide a portable ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus for animals, which is suitable for diagnosing the animal ON the site of breeding such as a stable and is excellent in operability at the time.
SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 is provided with an ultrasonic probe 31, an apparatus main body 2 housing an image processing means 15, a display device 19, an input device 16 and a signal transmission cable 41 for connecting the ultrasonic probe 31 and the apparatus main body 2, etc. The ultrasonic probe 31 is provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 32 for transmitting ultrasonic waves and receiving the reflected waves. The signal transmission cable 41 includes a non-curled cord part 42 extending from the ultrasonic probe 31 and a flexible curled cord part 43 provided ON the side closer to the apparatus main body 2 than the non-curled cord part 42.
