PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional steam generator wherein the structure is complicated to increase the product cost because water is fed into a high-pressure steam generating tank by a water supply device having an electric control circuit, a water supply pump, etc. and wherein it is necessary to repair the water supply pump if the water supply pump breaks down.SOLUTION: In the pressurized steam generator for hairdressing, a steam generating tank 5 and a water supply tank 3 are connected by a second conduit 11 via a second on/off valve 10. When a liquid surface sensor 5b for detecting the quantity of water within the steam generating tank detects that the quantity of water is not more than a predetermined quantity, power distribution to an electric heater 5a within the steam generating tank is stopped, and pressurized steam within the steam generating tank is fed into the water supply tank via the second on/off valve, so that the pressure within the steam generating tank is equivalent to the atmospheric pressure. At the same time, the heated water within the water supply tank is fed into the steam generating tank when remaining steam within the steam generating tank is cooled and the pressure is reduced.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】 従来の電気制御回路と給水ポンプ等を有する給水装置によって高圧の蒸気生成タンク内にポンプ給水することから、構造が複雑となって製品コストが高くなると共に給水ポンプが故障した場合には修理する必要があった。【解決手段】 蒸気生成タンク5と給水タンク3とを第2開閉弁10を介して第2導管11で接続し、前記蒸気生成タンク内の水量を検出する液面センサ5bが予め設定した水量以下となったことを検出した時に前記蒸気生成タンク内の電気ヒーター5aへの通電を停止すると共に前記第2開閉弁を介して前記蒸気生成タンク内の加圧蒸気が前記給水タンク内に供給され、前記蒸気生成タンク内の圧力が大気圧と同等となり、かつ、前記蒸気生成タンク内の残存蒸気が冷却され圧力が低下すると給水タンク内の加温された水が前記蒸気生成タンク内に供給されることを特徴とする理美容用加圧蒸気発生装置である。【選択図】 図1
