An apparatus comprises a processor configured to receive data gathered during an inhalation of a user, determine an inspiratory measure based on the data, and determine an expiratory measure based on the inspiratory measure, wherein the expiratory measure is indicative of the lung function of the user. The apparatus comprises further a transmitter for sending the expiratory measure to one or more of a user device, a server, and a data cloud.
