The present invention provides a system and method foranchoring an irrigation system. According to a firstpreferred embodiment, the present invention includes apreinstalled concrete stage on which a drive tower may bepositioned. Preferably, the concrete stage further includes asecuring shelf mechanism for providing a restraint over therear tire. As further disclosed, the present inventionpreferably further includes a barricade secured in front ofthe front tire of the drive tower to prevent the drive towerfrom sliding out of position.
