The present invention providescompositions containing endoxifen, formulationsand liposomes of endoxifen, methods of prepara-tionof such agents and formulations, and use ofsuch agents and formulations for the treatment of asubject having or at risk for psychiatric and neu-rodegenerativediseases, infectious diseases, fertil-itydisorders, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and/orcardiovascular diseases. Specifically, the presentinvention relates to compositions comprising en-doxifenfor use in the treatment of such disordersor predisposition to such disorders, for use inmanufacture of medicaments for treating such dis-orders,and methods comprising use of such com-positionsin such treatments.
