The present invention relates to a composition comprising (a) an alkali metal salt and/or an alkaline earth metal salt of a C4 to C10 oxocarboxylic acid and (b) an alkali metal salt and/or an alkaline earth metal salt of an unsaturated or aromatic C6 to C10 carboxylic acid, wherein (a) is present in an amount of 20 to 95 wt.-%, based on the total mass of the composition, and (b) is present in an amount of 5 to 50 wt.-%, based on the total mass of the composition, wherein the composition is present in the form of a powder, methods of its manufacture and its use for inhibiting microbial growth in cosmetic, dermatological or personal care compositions.La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant (a) un sel de métal alcalin et/ou un sel de métal alcalino-terreux d'un acide oxocarboxylique en C4 à C10 et (b) un sel de métal alcalin et/ou un sel de métal alcalino-terreux d'un acide carboxylique en C6 à C10 insaturé ou aromatique, (a) étant présent en une quantité de 20 à 95 % en poids, sur la base de la masse totale de la composition, et (b) étant présent en une quantité de 5 à 50 % en poids, sur la base de la masse totale de la composition, la composition étant présente sous la forme d'une poudre, des procédés de fabrication et son utilisation pour inhiber la croissance microbienne dans des compositions cosmétiques, dermatologiques ou de soins personnels.
