PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for a labiate plant, the package being designed so as to prevent emission of foul smell even if the labiate plant is stored for a long time, also prevent the labiate plant from becoming yellow, and maintains the freshness of the labiate plant for a long time.SOLUTION: The package containing a labiate plant is such that the labiate plant is packaged in a packaging bag made of a porous synthetic resin film. In this package, the inner area of the packaging bag per 100 g labiate plant is 800 to 5,000 cm2, and the hole area proportion of the porous synthetic resin film per 1 m2 packaging bag is 3×10-6 to 6×10-4%.
