PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ascorbic acid dispersion materials that have high chemical stability and also an excellent feeling of use, such as spreading properties and a smooth feel at the time of application to the skin.SOLUTION: An ascorbic acid dispersion material is prepared by dispersing a crystal of ascorbic acid into a solvent. The crystal of ascorbic acid has a plate-like shape, has a mean particle diameter of 50-100 μm, and has a particle size distribution in which the particles with a particle diameter of 30-120 μm occupy 40 to 80% of the entire particles.
