A utility model relating to a de-pulper but more particularly to a depulping machine for use in separating seeds from its outer covering such as seeds of Gmelina. The de-pulping machine comprises of a horizontal cylindrical housing having an inlet for the fruits and an outlet for the de-pulped seeds. An externally threaded drum is centrally disposed in the housing wherein upon the rotation of the drum, the fruits move in contact with the inner wall of the housing thereby creating a friction between the inner wall of the housing and the raw fruit. Through friction the pulps are separated from teh seeds. The present utility model solves the problem of protecting the seeds from being damaged in the process.
