The blood delivery conduit includes a blood delivery tube 13 and a peristaltic pump element 12 having a boxed housing mounted around the blood delivery tube 12. At least a portion of the blood delivery tube 13 is resiliently deformable and extends through the box-shaped housing of the peristaltic pump element 12.
