A suture passer comprising: a hollow tube, the hollow tube comprising a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending from the distal end to the proximal end and a clamping rod slidably received in the lumen of the hollow tube, the clamping rod comprising a distal end and a proximal end, the distal end being bifurcated into a first arm and a second arm, one of the first and second arms extending distally of the other of the first and second arms and including a clamping surface wherein at least one of the first arm and the second arm comprises a friction-enhancing surface for facilitating manipulation of a suture via engagement of the suture with the friction-enhancing surface.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de passage de suture comportant : un tube creux, le tube creux comprenant une extrémité distale, une extrémité proximale, et une lumière sétendant depuis lextrémité distale jusquà lextrémité proximale et une tige de serrage reçue en coulissement dans la lumière du tube creux, la tige de serrage comprenant une extrémité distale et une extrémité proximale, lextrémité distale étant bifurquée en une première branche et une seconde branche, une parmi les première et seconde branches sétendant dans une direction distale de lautre parmi les première et seconde branches et comprenant une surface de serrage ladite au moins une parmi la première branche et la seconde branche comporte une surface damélioration de frottement pour faciliter la manipulation dune suture par mise en contact de la suture avec la surface damélioration de frottement.
