PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent for fiber capable of adding excellent antistatic property and repeating water permeability to a hydrophobic fiber at same time.SOLUTION: There is used a water permeability adding agent containing an ampholytic surfactant (A) and a nonionic compound having an HLB of 3.0 to 10.0 (B), and having a content weight ratio of (A) and (B), (A)/(B) of 5/95 to 50/50.
