The absorbent article (10) comprises: a body region (RA) in which a surface sheet (21), a back sheet (22), and an absorbing core (23) are overlapped； and an extending region (RB) which extends beyond an outer edge of the absorbing core and in which at least the surface sheet and the back sheet are arranged. The extending region has a tape portion (80) which is configured to be foldable so that a non-skin-opposing surface faces a skin-opposing-surface side of the absorbent article, and a non-tape portion (81) that does not constitute the tape portion.
