PURPOSE: A bed for a patient is provided to prevent the damage of a hand or fingers and to protect a patient with a dementia or a mental retardation by not allowing them to remove side rail.CONSTITUTION: A bed for a patient comprises a base frame(102), legs(104), one touch type wheels(106), a first and a second protective board(108,110), and a first and a second sliding means(112,114). A mattress with the cushion is settled on the base frame. The base frame is supported by the legs. The one touch type wheels enable the movement of the base frame. The first and the second protective board protect from break away of a patient from the mattress.
