PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated stent, which prevents restenosis of a narrowed area of a distended vein or the like and has no possibility of toxicity or infectiousness.
SOLUTION: A peripheral surface side 1a of a stent 1 is coated by an outer tube 2 made of a bio-compatible ceramics tube impregnated with a smooth muscle cell inhibitor, and an internal circumference surface side 1b of the stent is coated by an inner tube 3 made of the bio-compatible ceramics tube impregnated with an endothelial cell proliferator, which allow the outer tube 2 to sustainedly release the smooth muscle cell inhibitor for inhibiting the smooth muscle cell proliferation, and the inner tube 3 to sustainedly release the endothelial cell proliferator for promoting the endothelial cell proliferation, so that the restenosis of the narrowed area could keep inhibited over a long term.
