PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type wearing article and a method for manufacturing the pants type wearing article allowing side seals of side parts to be easily and surely separated and spread out when removed after wearing while maintaining sufficient strength during wearing.
SOLUTION: The pants type wearing article includes a waist opening and a pair of leg openings, and side seal parts extending from the waist opening to the leg openings. The side seal part is structured to join an abdomen side part and a back side part of an outer layer material through a separating member at the side edge of the pants-type wearing article.
