PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of having high cleaning performance by irradiating a photocatalyst efficiently and uniformly with light from a light source.SOLUTION: The air cleaner cleans air taken in from an air intake and blows the air out from an air blow port by activating a photocatalyst 6 by irradiating the photocatalyst 6 folded into bellows with light from an LED (light source) 7. A lens 8 which performs light distribution control over the light from the LED 7 is arranged between the LED 7 and the photocatalyst 6, and the bellows of the photocatalyst 6 are formed in a sector shape having its center at a focus F formed by the LED and lens 8.
