PURPOSE: An apartment-house structure with a floor-based vegetation space is provided to ensure a sufficient space for holding a variety of plants. CONSTITUTION: A floor-based vegetation space(1) is formed by horizontally connecting each floor of neighboring apartment houses(100). The vegetation space comprises a rebar structure, a vegetation box, a drain pipe(4), and a passage. The rebar structure is arranged at regular intervals to connect the sidewalls of neighboring apartment houses. The vegetation box is supported on the rebar structure and is installed on the sidewalls of neighboring apartment houses. The vegetation box comprises a vegetation layer and a fall preventing railing. The drain pipe is installed on the sidewall of the vegetation box and discharges the water from the vegetation box to a collecting well(41).
