Aspects of the present invention are directed to a nicotine lozenge for oral administration comprising: a nicotine active at least one high viscosity, water soluble, synthetic or semi-synthetic, non-ionic polymer and at least one low viscosity, water soluble, synthetic or semi-synthetic, non-ionic polymer.
